Selection
- Choose the right capacity.
- Oversized compressors cut in and out too often and more current would be drawn.
- Undersized compressors run continuously, resulting in higher running cost.
- Of the two types of indoor units i.e. cassette ceiling and wall mounted , wall mounted type is sufficient for a typical household.
Installation
- Avoid placing in direct sunlight
- Placing the indoor unit too high will result in more area to be cooled
- Keep the air inlet and outlet clear of any obstacles to ensure proper airflow.
